ABOUT CHARLIE CARROLL

Charlie had an early introduction to music, learning piano and saxophone throughout his childhood.

He has composed music for various different projects. The first was a short documentary, which he also produced and directed, about a 19-year-old who dropped out of further education to become a full time carp fisherman. The film went on to win Best Budget and New Media Short at The Winchester Short Film Festival.

This then led on to him being commissioned to compose the music for a feature length documentary directed by artist and filmmaker Jane Hilton. The film is currently in editing and post production.

Charlie always enjoys collaborating with other musicians and is currently in the studio recording saxophone for the music producer Hairy Hand’s forthcoming album.
